Project Overview
The Hurlingham Club, a prestigious private members' club, wanted to develop a mobile application aimed at modernising and enhancing the member experience. The app was designed to provide a convenient platform for members to book food, sports, and other events, purchase tickets for exclusive events like the Giorgio Armani Tennis Week, and manage their membership wallet. The design focused on creating a user-friendly interface that catered to the diverse needs of the club's members, ensuring an intuitive and seamless experience.
Reflection
Several important lessons and successes emerged in this project. Understanding the diverse needs of the club's members through thorough user research and interviews was crucial for developing an app that met their varied requirements. Balancing functionality with usability was a significant challenge, but the clean and intuitive design was well-received, making it easy for members to navigate and use the app's features. The project's iterative design process, with regular testing and feedback loops, ensured the app remained user-centric. Close collaboration with the club’s management team was essential for aligning functionalities with operational requirements.
